"Alexander Kuoppala 1974 �prilis 1.-�n sz�letett Espoo-ban. Az az ember volt a csapatban, akire a t�bbiek mindig sz�m�tottak. Elsõ git�rj�t 10 �ves kor�ban kapta. Az anyuk�ja mutatta meg neki az elsõ akkordokat, �s ez volt az a pont, ahol Alexander eld�nt�tte, mit is akar csin�lni. Elõsz�r m�g csak bluest �s jazz-t j�tszott, ezenk�v�l tud m�g zongor�zni is. Nagyon fontosnak tartja, hogy az ember t�bbf�le zenei st�lusban, ir�nyzatban tudjon alkotni valamit.
Kedvencei k�z� tartozik a WASP, a Judas Priest, Ozzy �s a Manowar. Hossz� ideig nagy Manowar fanatikus volt. Alexander ezenk�v�l j�tszik m�g trombit�n egy h�res finn zenekarban, a Keytoes-ban. Az Inearthed 1995-ben k�rte fel õt, hogy legyen a git�rosuk.
Alexander ezenk�v�l szerete a finn punk zen�t, �s Alexivel nagy Klamydia rajong�k. �gy siker�lt a Klamydi�nak kiadni egy olyan sz�mot, amit a COB dolgozott fel, a Latomerit.
Ahogy a Children Of Bodom egyre h�resebb lett, Alexander kisz�llt a Keytoes-b�l, mert nem volt ideje a kettõ zenekarral egy�tt foglalkozni.
1997-ben, amikor a Something Wild megjelent, Alexander elk�ldte a demo v�ltozatot Sami Tenetznek, aki azt tov�bbk�ldte Ewo Rytk�nnennek, a Spinefarm tulajdonos�nak, �s �gy siker�lt al��rniuk egy szerzõd�st ezzel a kiad�val.
Alexander a legidõsebb tagjak�nt a csapatnak, nagyon szerette a fanokat. Sokszor besz�lgetett a rajong�kkal, �s 1998-ban a Spinefarm irod�j�ban �r�kat t�lt�tt el azzal, hogy rajong�i levelekre v�laszolt.
Helytelen Alexandert ritmusgit�rosnak nevezni, ugyanis nagyon sok Bodom sz�mban, �s m�s feldolgoz�sokban õ sz�l�zott Alexi helyett, vagy felv�ltva."

 

J�lius 13.-�n Alexander kil�pett a COB-b�l. Alexi �rt err�l:
"So...unfortunately it is true that Alexander is no longer part of the Hatecrew, and we just wanted to make the point clear that there is absolutely no bad blood between us, what so ever. We really try not to make a big deal out of this, and since it`s not our place to talk about Alexander`s personal affairs, we have to be brief about this. Alexander realized he couldn`t take this constant touring life anymore and felt that he was holding us back by not enjoy doing this anymore and that it was better for him to bail out than not giving the whole 100% and making himself unhappy. His exact words to me were "It`s not fair to me, to you, or to our fans to pull an act in front of you all and just do it for money" We understand that some of you might feel that it`s not COB without him, and it is true that he was a huge part of us just like every other member, but we hope that YOU understand that this has not been easy for us, but, god damn, we will carry on with a new guy(which we`ll let you know about later),cuz after all, the fact is: CHILREN OF BODOM AIN`T READY TO FUCKING DIE YET!

A Shining demohoz felvett�k Jani 'Pera' Pirisjokit, aki nem maradt tov�bb a csapatban, ugyanis kir�gt�k a dem� felv�tele ut�n, �s az õ hely�re ker�lt Janne."
